Fourth Generation cheesemakers and a family with a rich farming heritage in Lancashire. Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses are the only farmhouse dairy to make Hard, Blue and Soft cheeses in one location. The milk used to create their cheeses is all from cows who graze. the surrounding areas.
Matthew & Daniel run the business under the guidance of their mother, Gill and her mother, Jean – its true family affair. All cheeses are handmade in rural Lancashire and many are multiple gold award winners at cheese shows around the country.
