Exciting News From The Grocer

We’ve just heard from the lovely people at The Grocer magazine that we have made its Top 20 Regional Gems lists – The Cheeseboard – which will be published in the annual dairymen feature in the trade magazine.

Trotter Hill & friends

Our very special Trotter Hill Tasty Lancashire made the cut and we’re delighted!

Trotters Hill is a fully matured and very special rinded Lancashire Cheese. It is named after the steep hill near to our dairy in Inglewhite village. The locals used to trot horses there during the village fair.

We wrap Trotters Hill in muslin and store it at Throstle Nest Barn for one yearunique flora in the barn gives the cheese its deep, complex, savoury flavour and creamy pale yellow colour. We recommend enjoying it with a glass of your favourite local ale!

You can buy it from our online shop www.butlerslarder.co.uk
